what happens after bedtime

I heard Henry start in on a serious cry out of the blue, so I ran upstairs. I saw Henry standing in the tub with his clothes on, sputtering, and Stanley with an empty cup in his hand. "I was trying to give Henry a shower!" he protested, as I sent him to wait for me in the bedroom. I turned on the bathroom light to find Henry's face white as a ghost, hair matted down with a heavy application of thick white lotion. No wonder he needed a shower!
"Did you put this lotion on, Henry?"
"No, Stan put it on me"
"Well we might need to shampoo a few times"
I gave Hen three shampoos and a face wash, spending extra time on his eyelashes, which had lotion worked in clear to the base. All the while Stan was outside the door crying "it's not fair! It's not fair!"
I wrapped Henry in a towel and carried him into the room and asked Stan to tell me his side of the story, thinking the crying over fairness had something to do with misallocation of blame. All he said was, "It's not fair! Henry got to take a shower and I didn't!"
